Sunday@thePub is the weekly gathering and the birthplace of the BeachcomberFX community. It began because the ‘pub culture’ offered a great place for people to meet and to explore faith and spirituality together. It was neutral ground shared by different groups within a community, it was informal, laid back, and a place where loads of different characters mixed together. Gathering around food and drink is also a great way to experience community.
Sunday@thepub is organic and relational in its make-up and as we have met we have tried to keep that at its heart; but we have also developed intentional conversations, this has led us to chat and share together reflecting on lots of different issues, from faith to politics and everything in-between. As part of our weekly gatherings we post a reflection that we discuss each week and you will find this on this site and also on Facebook.
We meet each week in a different pub around the North East coast with some central venues we regularly visit. We gather at 8pm and spend a couple of hours together and anyone is welcome to join us.
